An Original Vintage Theatrical Canadian Movie Campaign Book (measures 10 1/2" x 11 3/4" [27 x 30 cm]; 25 pages) (Learn More) Esquire Films 1942-43, the 1942 Canadian campaign book which was sent to theater owners to encourage them to show Esquire Films movies. Apparently, Esquire Films was a Canadian company set up in 1942 to distribute English movies, and it may have only lasted this one year, because we have never heard of it otherwise. The book includes many pages with images and information on upcoming English movies (many of them great propaganda movies made during World War II!) such as Scorched Earth, Trouble Brewing, We Dive At Dawn. The Big Blockade, One of Our Aircraft is Missing, Moscow Strikes Back, and many more! In addition, there are Russian movies released through their Artkino branch, such as "Siege of Leningrad" and "In the Rear of the Enemy". Note that the pages of this campaign book are die-cut, in the shape of the "3" at the right end of all pages. Condition: very good. There is some minor wear around the edges, but otherwise, the campaign book is in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
