Anything Goes, the 1956 Robert Lewis songwriting cruise ship romantic musical ("When these shining stars sing and dance those Cole Porter melodies... 'Anything Goes"; "Screen Story and Screen Play by Sydney Sheldon"; "Music and lyrics by Cole Porter"'; "With new songs by Sammy Cahn and James Van Heusen"; "From the play by Guy Bolton and P.G. Wodehouse"; about a pair of Broadway musical composers who go on a luxury cruise, and each signs a different woman on the cruise to be their new leading lady) starring Bing Crosby, Donald O'Connor, Zizi Jeanmaire (billed as "Jeanmaire"), Mitzi Gaynor, and Phil Harris. Note that this movie was very loosely based on a 1934 play by Cole Porter, which was turned into a 1936 movie, but the movie mostly only retained some of the songs, and added several others.
