An Original Vintage Stage Play Playbill (measures 6 1/2" x 9" [17 x 23 cm]; 28 pages) (Learn More)

The Lark, the 1955 - 1956 Joseph Anthony Broadway stage play production (based on the trial of Joan of Arc) starring Julie Harris (as Joan of Arc), Boris Karloff (as Cauchon), Theodore Bikel, Christopher Plummer, Joseph Wiseman, and Vinsent Beck
Important Added Info: Note that this playbill was given by Evelyn Karloff, Boris Karloff's widow, to author Scott Nollen in 1982. He was researching a book about Karloff (the book would not be written for nine more years, but he sent it to Mrs. Karloff when it was published, and she called him and told him what she thought of it!). The playbill comes in a plastic sleeve, and Mr. Nollen wrote the above information (and more) on the plastic sleeve in marker, so it serves as a "COA" that this playbill was indeed Boris Karloff's personal property.

Condition: very good to fine.
