An Original 1963 (from the first release of this movie in Poland) Vintage Theatrical Polish Movie Poster (23x33; measures 21 3/4" x 32 1/2" [55 x 83 cm]) (Learn More) Die 1000 Augen des Dr. Mabuse (released in the U.S. in 1966 as "1,000 Eyes of Dr. Mabuse" and "Eye of Evil"), the 1960 Fritz Lang French/Italian/German crime murder horror thriller ("The killer dog who turn man-eater on command!"; "His evil and fiendish power unleashes a blood-bath of chemical and electronic terror!!"; "The most hideous murders the screen has ever seen!"; "No escape from the death car!"; "Dr. Mabuse is on the loose!") starring Dawn Addams, Peter van Eyck, Gert Froebe (billed as "Gert Frobe [Mr. Goldfinger]"), Werner Peters, and Wolfgang Preiss (in the title role as Dr. Mabuse) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Marian Stachurski Important Added Info: Note that this poster was created on a heavy board backing, and therefore needs to be sent in a very oversized flat package, which will measure roughly 27" x 35" x 2", so it will cost much more to send than items that fit in our standard flat packages or tubes, especially if they are sent to non-U.S. addresses, so bear this in mind before bidding on this really cool poster. Condition: fair to good. The poster was dry-mounted onto a heavy board, no doubt so it could be framed. It has surface paper loss in the bottom center and some stains near the bottom of the left border, by the artist's signature. There are some tiny bits of surface paper loss in the poster, with a faint scuff mark across the girl's face, starting from the left end of her mouth, going through her cheek and hair, but mostly missing her mouth, nose, and eye. In spite of these defects, the poster can be displayed as it is, or restoration could be performed, but bear all this in mind, plus the fact that it needs to be shipped in a large flat package in mind before bidding on this poster.
