The Midnight Sun, the 1926 Dimitri Buchowetzki silent Russia romantic love triangle melodrama ("A glorious, glamorous, glittering love drama of a Grand Duke and a Dancing Toy"; "A glittering, glamorous love drama of a grand duke and a dancing girl..."; "Set in Russia"; "Based on the Pierre Benoit Novel"; "Universal's magnificent picture from the story by Laurids Braun"; about a beautiful ballerina in pre-Revolution Russia, and a nobleman and a rich banker both love her, but she loves a handsome military cadet, and the cadet tries to save her from the nobleman, and he ends up sentenced to death, and she asks the banker to use his influence to save the cadet, but he tries to seduce her as the price of the rescue, and the nobleman saves her from that and gets the cadet pardoned so she can be with him!) starring Laura la Plante (in the title role as Olga Morova aka The Midnight Sun), Pat O'Malley, Michael Vavitch, Raymond Keane, Earl Metcalf, George Siegmann, and "a great cast of 1500". Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

Condition: good to very good. The card was folded across the middle. There are stains and tiny areas of surface paper loss around the edges of the card.
