An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (11x14; LC; measures 11" x 14") (Learn More)

Are All Men Alike?, the 1920 Phil Rosen silent New York City Greenwich Village romantic boxing sports comedy melodrama (based on the story "The Waffle Iron" by Arthur Stringer; about an independent young woman who moves to Greenwich Village and gets involved with an artist and a prizefighter) starring May Allison, Wallace MacDonald, Lester Cuneo, Ruth Stonehouse, and Emanuel Turner. Note that Lester Cuneo had been a major comedy star at the Selig Studio in 1912, but after just a few movies, he chose to re-invent himself as a cowboy star, and had success there as well, also playing dramatic roles at the same time. He served in World War I (WWI), and returned to Hollywood and again began making westerns, playing a character billed as "The Smiling Daredevil". But by the early 1920s, his westerns were less and less successful, and after a series of personal and professional failures, Cuneo could not get any parts at all, and he committed suicide in 1925.
