Appointment with Murder, the 1948 Jack Bernhard detective mystery crime suspense thriller melodrama ("Rogue's gallery trapped into an Appointment with Murder"; "Fearless Falcon vs Femme Fatale"; "The Falcon learns... a woman's kiss may hide a multitude of sins."; "LOVE date with DEATH!"; "The hottest date Mr. Suspense ever had... with Miss Mystery"; "Make a date with the thrill of your life!!"; "A date with The Falcon is a date with DANGER! A date with The Female is a date with MURDER! Together they're your date with mystery's mightiest thrills!"; "Based on the character 'The Falcon' by Michael Arlen") starring John Calvert ("as The Falcon"), Cathering Craig, Jack Reitzen, Lyle Talbot, and Peter Brocco. Note that there were ten movies starring "The Falcon" made by RKO in the early 1940s with George Sanders and later Tom Conway playing the title character. In the late 1940s, the character was revived for three movies, with the lead role being played by John Calvert, but these three later movies really had no connection whatsoever to the first ten, other than the character having the same name!
