Important Added Info:

What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had several horizontal folds with fine surface paper loss and scuffs on those foldlines. It had a semi-circular tear in the middle left, extending into the image background. It had pinholes, smudges, and stains around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
