An Undated (probably 1920s) Re-Release Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 28" x 41 3/4") (Learn More)

A Day's Pleasure, the 1919 Charles Chaplin comedy short ("The one and only Charles Chaplin in his fourth Million Dollar Comedy") starring Charlie Chaplin (billed as "Charles Chaplin"), Edna Purviance, Marion Feducha, Bob Kelly, Jackie Coogan, Tom Wilson (a large white man who specialized in playing black roles in the early silent days when studios were reluctant to hire African Americans; he would put burnt cork on his face and skin!; he appeared in The Kid, but not in a black role), and Babe London

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this one-sheet measures 28" x 41 3/4" and it has been linenbacked.

Condition: very good. the poster was linenbacked; prior to restoration the poster had tears, smudges, and small areas of paper loss in the blank borders; the person who linenbacked the poster painted over most of the blank white borders to "even them out"; it was very well done and I think many people would not realize it unless it was pointed out to them; there were a few places where paper loss in the borders extended slightly into the orange area, and those too were well restored; there was tape on the back of the poster at each crossfold, but you cannot tell that because the restorer did a really expert job; Overall, the poster has had some restoration, but it does not have a "heavily restored" feel or look to it, and it looks quite nice and I would think any collector would be happy to display it on their wall!
