One poster lot contains approximately 75 to 100 special promo posters of Robin Williams from The World According to Garp, the 1982 George Roy Hill comedy (about a wrestler turned writer, who has a mother who is an even more famous writer; "Based on the novel by John Irving"; "Robin Williams is Garp."; "The most human being you'll ever meet"; "He's got a funny way of looking at life.") starring Robin Williams, Mary Beth Hurt, Glenn Close (in her nominated for Best Supporting Actress Academy Award role), John Lithgow (who plays a football sports player who has a sex change; in his nominated for Best Supporting Actor Academy Award performance), and Hume Cronyn, AND The other lot contains approximately 75 to 100 special promo posters of Henry Winkler from Night Shift, the 1982 Ron Howard comedy ("Ever since two enterprising young men turned the City Morgue into a swinging business, people have been dying to get in.") starring Henry Winkler, Michael Keaton (in the role that made him a star), Shelley Long, and Shannen Doherty. Note that all of the posters have a facsimile signature of the star that is printed on each poster. These promo posters were sent to theaters that were showing this movie, with the intention that they pass them all out to people who came in to see the movie, but obviously, this particular theater did not pass out the posters, and stored them for the last 25 years! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: The person who purchases this lot will receive approximately 75 to 100 examples of each of the above posters, for a total of 150 to 200 posters (we were too rushed for time to count them all exactly). You can sell these posters individually on eBay, as authentic original vintage posters from two of the great pop icons of the 1970s and 1980s, and who knows how much each will go for. If you bid $25 for this lot, you will be paying $25 for ALL of the 75 to 100 Robin Williams posters, PLUS the 75 to 100 Henry Winkler posters! Condition: very good to fine. All of the poster were folded across the middle, and some have some minor wear, but overall, most are in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
