Also note that Italian posters from the first few years after World War II are among the most rare posters there are, and they were almost all not the standard Italian sizes that became standard in the late 1940s (the 39x55 one-panel, the 55x78 two-panel, etc). These are likely so rare because there were still major paper shortages in Italy right after World War II, and few posters were printed, and most were recycled. This is an extremely rare first release Italian poster from 1949. Also note that this Italian poster was printed in 2 sections designed to overlap. Finally, note that the theater that used this poster glued the pieces together before putting them on display (this is typical of many actual theater-used posters in multiple pieces). Finally, note that this poster measures 38 1/4" x 80 1/2" [97 x 204 cm]. Note that this Italian poster WAS folded in half "an extra time", as some Italian posters are. This means it has more folds than those posters which were NOT folded an extra time, but it also means that it can be sent in a standard flat package, while those that were NOT folded an extra time must be sent in a larger flat package that measures approximately 15" x 23". We list the two types separately by how they are folded, so that you can more easily know which kind of shipping each type requires. Condition: fair to good.
