An Original Vintage Theatrical Australian Movie Herald (measures 6 1/2" x 8 1/4" [17 x 21 cm]; 4 pages) (Learn More)

King Solomon's Mines, the 1937 Robert Stevenson English Africa jungle adventure thriller ("Adapted from the famous Sir Rider Haggard [H. Rider Haggard] novel"; "It's actually greater than 'Count of Monte Cristo'") starring Cedric Hardwicke, Anna Lee, Paul Robeson (legendary black African American actor, singer, and athlete, who became disenchanted with Hollywood and the U.S. over racism), Roland Young, and John Loder. Note that the great Paul Robeson does not appear on much of the advertising for this movie, no doubt due to the prejudices of the time, which is sad.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that when this movie was released in the U.S., Paul Robeson was given third billing, and was not prominently pictured on the advertising. But when it was released in Australia, he was given top billing and was prominently pictured on the cover of the herald. Note that we have pictured both sides of the herald.

Condition: very good to fine. The herald is in nice condition!
