For European Prosperity, the 1950 Dutch post-World War II (WWII) European Recovery Program poster featuring Wladmir Flem art of a steam whistle and many European flags. The Marshall Plan (officially the European Recovery Program or ERP) was an American initiative passed in 1948 for foreign aid to Western Europe. The United States transferred over $12 billion (equivalent to over $128 billion as of 2020) in economic recovery programs to Western European economies after the end of World War II (WWII). The goals of the United States were to rebuild war-torn regions, remove trade barriers, modernize industry, improve European prosperity, and prevent the spread of Communism.

Condition: fair to good. There is rippling and some staining throughout the poster from exposure to moisture (more so across the top). There is tattering and some paper loss in the corners of the poster.
