An Original Vintage Tri-Folded Billboard Advertising Poster (measures approximately 9' x 20') (Learn More)

Mercury was an American division of Ford Motor Company from 1928 to 2010. The division was created by Edsel Ford and was designed as a brand of premium vehicles that were both luxurious and economical.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that in 1950, Ford Motor Company hired Jack Benny to pitch their new Mercury cars, with an ad campaign based around how economical they were, playing off on Jack Benny's well known "cheapskate" image! Also note that this billboard poster was printed in 18 sections designed to overlap. Also note this poster was folded in a way that makes it resemble a tri-folded six-sheet (only much larger, of course, as there are more sections). But the length and width of the folded poster is just about the same as that of a folded six-sheet or three-sheet. This means that this poster needs to be sent in an oversized flat package, which will measure roughly 16" x 38", and approximately 2" high, and it will cost more to send than a regular sized package.

Condition: very good. There are a few stains on the back of small parts of some of the sections, but they have little effect on the front. There is some small paper loss at some crossfolds and some minor fold and border wear, but overall, the poster has likely survived in as good condition as one could hope, given its age and size. Please look at our super-sized image to get a sense of the exact condition of this poster.
