An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Liberace (born Wladziu Valentino Liberace) was a flamboyant pianist and occasional actor from the 1930s to the 1980s. He was a classical pianist prodigy who turned "mainstream", and became a major star in the 1950s, performing with his trademark candelabra on his piano. He only appeared in a few movies, including Sincerely Yours. He passed away in 1987 at the age of 67 from complications of AIDS. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Liberace! He wrote a great long inscription to "Wanda", telling her how memorable his two weeks with her in Reno were, and he says he hopes to see her again in L.A., and he writes his phone number on the still. He signed it both "Lee" and "Liberace", and added a drawing of a piano. Obviously, Wanda was more than just a fan, and we wonder who she was and what her connection to the young Liberace was. Note that the still is undated, but given his super youthful appearance and the printing, we think it is likely the still is from the late 1930s or early 1940s. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that this still measures 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm]. Condition: very good to fine.
