A Mandalorian bounty hunter hired by Darth Vader to find Han Solo, he has appeared in The Star Wars Holiday Special, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, and Attack of the Clones. His air of danger and mystery have created a cult following for the character, and he's been merchandised across multiple media platforms. Artist: Joe Johnston Important Added Info: Note that this limited edition art portfolio from 2009 that has ELEVEN signed prints that measure 12" x 17 1/2", ten of which are hand-numbered (either 2/78 or 3/78 - see our image) that were taken from the original crew gift drawn by Joe Johnston for The Empire Strikes Back and given to select members of the pre-production staff in 1978. Only 75 portfolios were made in total (the prints are limited to an edition of 78), and it includes one certificate of authenticity signed by the artist (hand-numbered 13/75), and one certificate of authenticity from ACME Archives Limited. The portfolio measures 14 3/4" x 18 1/2" and is packaged in a holographic textured portfolio with a brushed metal titanium alloy Mandalorian symbol on the cover. This is a wonderful portfolio, and it will surely be treasured by its new owner! This item was consigned to us from the collection of southern California based Kevin LaNeave, a long-time 30 year+ Star Wars memorabilia collector with an emphasis on original theatrical movie posters as well as other marketing, promotional, and commercial posters from a galaxy far, far away.
