An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Limelight, the 1952 Charles Chaplin stage acting aging comedian romantic comedy ("Charles Chaplin in his human drama 'Limelight' it will move you to love, laughter and tears"; "The masterpiece of laughter and tears from the master of comedy!") starring Charlie Chaplin (Charles Chaplin; "In his human drama"; as Calvero), Claire Bloom, Sydney Chaplin, Nigel Bruce, Norman Lloyd, Buster Keaton (this was the only movie Keaton and Chaplin appeared in together!), Marjorie Bennett, "and for the Ballet, Andre Eglevsky, and Melissa Hayden". Note that this movie was released in 1952, but did not play in any theaters in the Los Angeles area until the 1972 re-release! This made it eligible for the Academy Awards in 1972, 20 years after its initial release!

Condition: very good. There are smudges and creases around the edges, and a 1 1/2" tear in the bottom border. There are two pieces of tape on the back of the center of the top and bottom borders, but they were not put there for any restoration purpose.
