They are being collected by thousands of women."; "This is not a Christmas number. But buy it & compare it with the Christmas numbers of other papers."; "Don't fail to get the Japanese number."; "Out Dec. 12th") promoting a newspaper, and featuring art of Japanese women in traditional clothing. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had some tiny tears and tiny bits of paper loss on the folds. Its right and bottom blank borders were trimmed off, as well as a part of the left blank border. There were some tears and paper loss around the edges, with a 7" tear and small paper loss in the upper right border that extended through the middle of the thin branch. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
