Who nearly dies of pleasure?"; "Who seduces an angel?"; "Who's the bird in the gilded cage?"; "Who conveys love by hand?"; "Who strips in space?"; "See Barbarella do her thing!"; "From the best seller 'Barbarella' by Jean Claude Forest published by 'Le Terrain Vague'"; "Screenplay by Terry Southern") starring Jane Fonda (in the title role as Barbarella), John Phillip Law, Marcel Marceau, David Hemmings (billed as "Special Guest Appearance David Hemmings as Dildano"), Ugo Tognazzi ("as Mark Hand"), Anita Pallenberg, and Milo O'Shea NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Robert McGinnis Condition: very good. The poster was never folded. It received water staining across the top blank border, slightly extending into the lettering of the tagline in the "BA" and "E" of "BARBARELLA". There are two small tears near the center of the bottom border and one near the right end of the bottom border. There is a minor printing defect which resulted in a thin strip of white paper at the very bottom of the poster (where the printing machine held the poster), and this is a minor defect typical of many posters of this period. Other than the defects described above (which have virtually no effect on anything but the blank top and bottom borders), the poster is in really wonderful condition (it was clearly never used and has a "crisp" feel to it!). If I owned this wonderful poster, I would surely immediately have it professionally backed to remove the water staining from the top border, and to repair the three tiny tears in the bottom blank border, and after linenbacking, the poster will look incredible and there will be basically no restoration except in the top and bottom borders!
