An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Halls of Montezuma (released in some countries as "Okinawa"), the 1951 Lewis Milestone South Pacific island World War II (WWII) United States Marine Corps (USMC) military action adventure thriller ("The everlasting story of the everlasting glory of the United States Marines!"; "The big story of the U.S. Marines..."; "So Big, only the motion picture screen could bring it all to you!"; "Written by Michael Blankfort") starring Richard Widmark, Jack Palance (billed as "Walter [Jack] Palance"; in his second movie role!), Reginald Gardiner, Robert Wagner, Karl Malden, Richard Hylton, Richard Boone, Skip Homeier, Don Hicks, Jack Webb, Bert Freed, and Neville Brand NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good. The theater that used this slide wrote the days the movie was playing in the play dates section at the bottom of the glass. Otherwise, the cardboard holder has staining around the staples, but the glass slide itself is in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
