On Trial, the 1939 Terry O. Morse courtroom legal lawyer romantic crime melodrama ("From the play by Elmer L. Rice"; about a new lawyer who is assigned to defend a killer, and after much investigation on his part, he not only clear him, but also reunites him with his missing wife and infant daughter; the Broadway play on which the movie was based was hailed for its extremely innovative use of multiple flashbacks, similar to those in "Citizen Kane", and the movie preserved that structure, but because flashbacks were already extensively used in movies, it did not seem as innovative in the film version) starring Margaret Lindsay, John Litel, Edward Norris, Janet Chapman, James Stephenson, Nedda Harrigan, and Larry Williams

Condition: very good. Approximately 2" has been trimmed from the top edge of the card. The card has slightly darkened, typical of Warner Bros. linen mini window cards of this period. There are a few very minor creases and scuffs throughout the card.
