An Original Vintage German Film Program (measures 9" x 12" [23 x 30 cm]; 8 pages) (Learn More)

Three Hours, the 1927 James Flood silent San Francisco California infidelity family relationship romantic melodrama ("Adapted from the story 'Purple and Fine Linen' by May Edginton"; an incredibly tragic and bizarre story of a woman who is married to a very wealthy man; she has an affair and her husband divorces her and leaves her penniless and also refuses to let her see their small child; years later, she has been reduced to living on the streets, and she gets word that her husband will let her see her child, so she steals a man's wallet in order to make herself look nice for the reunion, but the man she robbed catches her, and she tells him the story of what occurred so that he will wait three hours so she can finally see her child!) starring Corinne Griffith, John Bowers, Hobart Bosworth, Paul Ellis, and Anne Schaefer. Note that if you are a major film buff, then the above plot will probably sound familiar to you, and that would not be because you saw this movie, but because you saw 1936's "Adventure in Manhattan". For that movie, the producers bought the rights to the above story, but then they took that as the first quarter of the movie, and then proceeded to turn it into a romantic comedy, which this movie definitely is not!

Important Added Info: Note that we have pictured the front cover, the back cover, and an interior 2-page spread from this program book.

Condition: fair to good. There are two punch holes in the spine of all eight pages, which has some effect on the images and writing (the program was once kept in a 2-ring binder). There is clear tape down the spine and the program is fragile and chipping around the edges.
