Al 'Fuzzy' St. John was an actor from the 1910s to the 1950s. He is best remembered for his comedy supporting roles in several movies, including: The Scarecrow, The High Sign, King of the Bullwhip, Hopalong Cassidy Returns, and The Dance of Life. St. John was also Roscoe 'Fatty' Arbuckle's nephew! He appeared in a huge number of comedy shorts starting in 1913, and he had no trouble making the transition to sound films, appearing in 150 features! He passed away in 1963 at the age of 69.
Important Added Info: This still was signed by Al "Fuzzy" St. John in 1951. It was taken at a Hollywood, California restaurant where Fuzzy was having dinner with Hollywood producer Alex Gordon and his brother, director Richard Gordon. Fuzzy signed it as follows: "To Alex My Best Wishes Al 'Fuzzy' St. John". This photo was consigned directly by Alex and Ruth Gordon!

Condition: very good to fine. There are faint emulsion scuffs scattered throughout the still, but they are truthfully not very noticeable except when the still is tilted to the light.
