What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It had pretty minor border wear and a few smudges and scuffs scattered in the image. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. It appears the poster came into contact with moisture, and the poster is now rippled down the left and right sides, extending into the right side of the middle of the image. Whatever it was occurred primarily to the linen and not to the poster, and it is the linen that is rippled much more than the poster itself. The poster could certainly be displayed and enjoyed as it is, or one could have it re-backed. Please bear this in mind before bidding on this poster.
