An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Do Detectives Think?, the 1927 Fred Guiol silent crime mystery comedy short starring Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy (Laurel and Hardy), James Finlayson (billed as "Jimmy Finlayson"), Viola Richard, and Noah Young. Note that this was not the very first film that Laurel & Hardy appeared in together (and they were not yet a team, but they do wear the derby hats for the first time that would later become their trademark in their comedies together). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: fair. There is loss in the title and in the left, but it has almost no effect on the image (see our image). Learn More about condition grades
