An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Three-Sheet Movie Poster (3sh; measures 41" x 81" [104 x 206 cm]) (Learn More)

The Private Secretary, the 1935 Henry Edwards English mistaken identity screwball comedy (about a timid clergyman who is duped into helping a playboy avoid his creditors and gain his inheritance) starring Edward Everett Horton (in the title role as the secretary), Barry McKay, Judy Gunn, Oscar Asche, and Sydney Fairbrother. Note that Edward Everett Horton had been a lead comedy star in the 1920s and had drifted into character roles in the 1930s. Right before this movie, he had appeared in "Top Hat" with Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. It seems odd that he had the starring role in this English movie, and those who have seen the movie say that it looks like his part might have been "spliced in", perhaps to help the movie gain a wider audience. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this three-sheet was printed in 3 sections designed to overlap.
