An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

Bill Osco's... Alice In Wonderland, the 1976 Bud Townsend sexploitation musical fantasy comedy ("An X-rated musical Comedy"; "From the producer of 'Flesh Gordon'") starring Kristine De Bell (billed as "Playboy's Cover Girl"; in the title role as Alice), Larry Gelman, Allan Novak, Terry Hall, and Jason Williams (billed as "Star of Flesh Gordon"). Note that this film had a Beverly Hills premiere and New York premiere (attended by Andy Warhol) and it was well-received. But because it was X-rated, the filmmakers had difficulty finding a distributor and they ended up starting a distribution company called General National (in order for people to think they were the well-known National General theater-chain/distributor). The film was trimmed by 3 minutes to get an R-rating for a wider release, but U.S. posters still said X-rated and it is not uncommon for them to be sniped to hide this. Some years later, producer Bill Osco released a version with added "hardcore" footage (some unused from the original film and some from other sources). To save money, it appears that the existing U.S. posters were re-used with the addition of a large snipe across the center.

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: good. There is a blank snipe at lower left (covering the "x-rated" tagline). There are Canadian and other stamps on the back that slightly bleed through to the front in the upper portion of the poster. There are some creases and tiny tears and/or tattering around the edges of the poster.
