There is no other way."; "A cast of Broadway stars"; about a girl who comes home from college and meets a guy who takes her on a date, and smashes the car, and they spend the night in a motel, and she ends up sleeping with him, but after they get back home, he dumps her and takes up with her best friend, but then she learns she is pregnant, and has nowhere to turn) starring Herbert Rawlinson, Miriam Battista, Beth Barton, Charles Eaton, and Claire Whitney. Note that this movie was made by the Weiss Brothers in 1934 and was then shown throughout the country under the states rights system. Apparently, they wanted to give the movie a pretense of being a major production, and so they hired silent actor Herbert Rawlinson to appear in it, and he was given top billing, and they noted that the movie had "a cast of Broadway stars". The only poster we have ever seen from it is a 40x60, which does not have Weiss Brothers on it, so it may not date from 1934, but it surely dates from the 1930s. Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: fair to good. The card has darkened, typical of some lobby cards of this period. There are creases, pinholes, paper loss, and small tears around the edges, with light staining and pinholes scattered in the rest of the card. Someone put tape on the back of the borders and also taped a piece of paper to the back of the paper loss in the top right blank corner. Note that the white tape on the back that our consignor used to repair some or all of the tears is Filmoplast P90 acid free conservation paper tape, which is recommended by all restorers for such repairs.
