Artist: Giorgio Olivetti Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster! We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning. Note that it is difficult to accurately date Italian posters, and some unmarked re-release posters can be extremely difficult to distinguish from first releases, so please bear that in mind before you place a bid. We used our best information to date this poster, but we can't always guarantee that the Italian posters we sell are not from an unmarked re-release, but this will only prove to be true in a very tiny number of cases. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tears and small paper loss scattered across the top horizontal fold, which ran through the bottom of one of O'Hara's eyes and the bridge of her nose (see our image). It also had tiny paper loss on small parts of a few other folds, with some pinholes in the corners and two tiny areas of paper loss in the blue background at the right end of the title. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
