Stranger in the House (released in the U.S. in 1968 as "Cop-Out"), the 1967 Pierre Rouve English lawyer legal family relationship crime murder thriller ("Suddenly it was murder... ...and father and daughter came face to face and discovered the yawning gap between them."; "Just when the sounds make you feel crazy ...and the lights shine right through your head ...and everything starts to fly.."; "'Cop-Out' Is a Love-in... Turned Kill-in"; "Based on the novel 'Strangers in the House' by Georges Simenon"; about a retired lawyer whose daughter has a boyfriend he disapproves of, but he defends the boyfriend when he is framed for murder) starring James Mason, Geraldine Chaplin ("Geraldine Chaplin is ready for the here and now in 'Cop-Out'"), Bobby Darin, Paul Bertoya, and Ian Ogilvy.
