7d043 LOT OF 5 LOCAL THEATRE TITLE LOBBY CARDS '50s Dial M For Murder, Big Sleep, Flying Saucer!

Date Sold 5/10/2015
Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price.

a lot of 5 local theatre title lobby cards. Note each of these is from a set of lobby cards had no title card. Apparently, a local theater was either annoyed by the missing title card, or had the full set but preferred their own version, and they had some local artist create their own title card for each, using a piece of what was likely a 30x40 (because they are on heavy stock and each has part of a poster on the back, but there is too little of it to tell what movie it is from). The unknown graphic designer(s) did a fantastic job creating these. Please bear in mind that it is not studio issued, and was surely created by a local theater or a poster exchange. Note that the items in this lot are from the 1950s.

Condition: good to very good. Each homemade local theater title card was printed on the back of part of a 30x40, or similar poster, but that does not affect the front.
