Artist: Jack Davis
Important Added Info: Note that this poster is the style A British quad for this classic movie (there is a small "A" in the bottom right corner). The style B has different art of the cast coming out of the Earth. The title is in "day-glo", and we have previously seen a style B that had a day-glo title, and at that time we suspected that there was a "day-glo style A", but we had not auctioned it. Now we HAVE been consigned that poster, and we know why we have never auctioned it before, because it is from the very first CINERAMA release of this movie in England (and it is the only "Cinerama" English poster we have auctioned! Even better, the poster was never folded and it is in generally nice condition. Even if we are ever consigned another example of this poster (which might take many years), the chances are it will be in far lesser condition.

Condition: very good to fine. The poster was never folded. It has an 8" diagonal cease in the lower right corner that extends to slightly above the yellow box. It has two smaller creases to the left of that that extend into the credits. There are some minor creases and just a few faint smudges around the edges of the poster. Other than the above, the poster is in really nice condition, and I can't imagine finding another example in better condition!
