Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and the restorer did a good job, but you can see signs of the restoration from inches away (since most people look at posters framed on a wall from at least a few feet away, we don't feel this is a defect, but we feel it should be noted). See below for this poster's pre-restoration condition (we are the only major auction company we know of that shares this information with our bidders, but we wish everyone did!).
good to very good. The blank borders of the poster were somewhat tattered, but not the image area. The person who linenbacked the poster carefully placed new paper over much of the old blank borders (it was very well done, and I would think most collectors would not realize it unless it was pointed out to them). There were small tears and creases in the left of the top foldline. There was paper loss at the crossfolds and creases and some small tears down the vertical foldline. The poster was nicely linenbacked, and looks quite nice!
