Important Added Info: Note that we have previously auctioned this very poster 16 years ago, and the person who bought it then has reconsigned it to us now. Note that this poster needs to be shipped in a tube that measures between 42" and 44" long. Therefore the shipping for this poster will be more than that for a poster that ships in a tube 32" or shorter, and possibly much more. Please bear this added shipping expense in mind before bidding on this poster. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair. The original owner of this poster had solely the top 2/3 of the poster, and hired a restorer to re-create the bottom 1/3. The top 2/3 of the poster had lots of tears and areas of paper loss along most of the foldlines affecting the image of Dean at the top in his cheek. The re-created bottom 1/3 looks odd, and that is because the head of Dean is colored differently from how it is on the actual three-sheet. If I owned this poster, I would have a talented restorer re-create the bottom 1/3 (in a way that would be so well done, that it would not be noticeable), and I would have the top portion re-restored. The result would still be a heavily restored poster, but it would be 2/3 original, and would display well, although the new owner will obviously make that choice for themselves, and they could instead choose to display it as is. However, please do not bid on this poster unless you have read all the above, have looked at our super-sized image, and can accept all of the defects and restoration this poster has had.
