An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Six-Sheet Movie Poster (6sh; measures 81" x 81" [206 x 206 cm]) (Learn More) Ian Fleming's Goldfinger, the classic 1964 Guy Hamilton English James Bond 007 spy espionage fantasy action adventure thriller ("James Bond is back in action!"; "Everything he touches turns to excitement!!!"; based on the novels by Ian Fleming) starring Sean Connery ("as Agent 007"), Honor Blackman ("as Pussy Galore"), Gert Frobe (in the title role; billed as "Gert Frobe as Goldfinger"), Harold Sakata (as "Oddjob"), Shirley Eaton (as Jill Masterson, the woman covered in gold paint in the film), Tania Mallet (as Tilly Masterson), Bernard Lee (as "M"), Margaret Nolan (as the girl who provides the background for the main titles, the "nude gold girl" on posters, and also as "Dink", one of the Bond girls!), Nadja Regin, Gerry Duggan, Lois Maxwell (as Moneypenny), Richard Vernon, and Cec Linder NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned two examples of this six-sheet, and they sold for $6,105 and $5,500 (and that one was in "good" condition)! Also note that this six-sheet was printed in 4 sections designed to overlap. Condition: fair to good. There are pairs of staple holes around the edges of the poster with some faint smudges and light brown water stains scattered in pars of the poster. There are some small tears and tiny paper loss in parts of the borders of all the sections, and there is paper loss in the left of the bottom border of the entire poster that slightly affects the very small printing at bottom. Any talented restorer can repair the above defects during the linenbacking process, and afterwards, the poster will display really well, but bear this poster's defects in mind before bidding. Obviously one would prefer a better condition example, but this poster is extremely rare and a better condition example would be very difficult to find, and this poster CAN certainly be restored to its original splendor!
