An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Deluxe 10 3/4" x 13 3/4" [27 x 35 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Marlene Dietrich was a very popular German actress and singer from the 1920s through the 1950s! She started in German movies in the 1920s, and then got her big break in Josef von Sternberg's "The Blue Angel", which was made in both a German and an English version. That led to a series of wonderful movies with von Sternberg. Some of her other movies include: Destry Rides Again, Shanghai Express, The Scarlet Empress, A Foreign Affair, Morocco (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Blonde Venus, Touch of Evil, Witness for the Prosecution, and Judgment at Nuremberg. She passed away in 1992 at the age of 90.
Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Marlene Dietrich! Also note that the item comes with a "certificate of authenticity" from the Profiles in History auction of the estates of Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds. Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Finally, note that this still measures 10 3/4" x 13 3/4" [27 x 35 cm], but it has not been trimmed.

As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes.

Condition: good to very good. The still was in a frame and there is masking tape on the back of all four borders, and discoloration around the edges, but fortunately, it is mostly in the background areas (see our images)
