An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Movie Window Card (WC; measures 14" x 22" [36 x 56 cm]) (Learn More)

Pick Up, the 1933 Marion Gering pre-Code romantic bad girl crime thriller ("She was easy to get but hard to forget"; "By Vina Delmar author of 'Bad Girl'"; about a female ex-convict who has a romance with a cab driver, but she has a jealous criminal husband who breaks out of jail and wants her back) starring Sylvia Sidney, George Raft, William Harrigan, Lilian Bond, Clarence Wilson, George Meeker, and Louise Beavers. Note that in 1951, Hugo Haas made a movie of the same name, starring Beverly Michaels and himself, but it has no official relation to this movie except for the name and the similar advertising. That movie was titled "Pickup", and this one is titled "Pick Up" (the IMDb claims its title is "Pick-up", but we think they are simply wrong, because all the original advertising says "Pick Up").

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that ANY U.S. movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a few lobby cards, a few stills, and a glass slide, until we received this window card, which is the first and only poster we have ever auctioned from this movie!

Condition: good to very good. The card has a smudge in Sidney's shoulder, a few tiny ones in her cheek, and some in the yellow background to the right of her. There are some in the top left above the "w" of "was" and just a few around the edges. Other than the above, the card is in nice condition, and it has had no restoration.
