84 Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" Movie Stills (Learn More)

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (released in other English-speaking countries as "Butch Cassidy" and as "Butch Cassidy and the Kid"), the classic 1969 George Roy Hill (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) outlaw cowboy western ("You've never met a pair like Butch and The Kid"; "Not that it matters, but most of it is true."; "They're taking trains... They're taking banks... And they're taking one piece of baggage!"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award; with a superb script by William Goldman) starring Paul Newman (in the title role as Butch Cassidy; "is Butch Cassidy"), Robert Redford (in the title role as The Sundance Kid; "The Sundance Kid is Robert Redford"), Katharine Ross ("is Etta Place"), Strother Martin, Jeff Corey (as the old sheriff), Henry Jones (as the bike salesman), Ted Cassidy (as Harvey Logan), George Furth (as Woodcock), Cloris Leachman (as Agnes), Kenneth Mars (as the Marshal), Timothy Scott (as News Carver), and Charles Dierkop (as Flat Nose Curry)

Important Added Info: Note that none of these 84 stills are dated, and all have the exact same information at the bottom. But given that they come to us in a huge collection of stills from the 1960s and 1970s, we feel certain that they are all original stills from the first 1969 release of this movie! Also note that this is a really wonderful group of stills, that contains many portraits of all three of the top stars, and also many of the most important scenes from the movie, with few "lesser" scenes of any kind! SUPER IMPORTANT! THIS LOT CONTAINS 84 STILLS, BUT ONLY FOUR OF THE STILLS ARE PICTURED! THE HIGH BIDDER ON THIS LOT WILL RECEIVE 84 STILLS FROM THIS MOVIE, and NOT just the four pictured! We realize there is an element of gambling to this, but we made no effort to find the best four stills in the lot, and, if you have any willingness to gamble at all, you may find that you get some great stills that were not pictured! Please do NOT bid on this lot unless you can accept that you are only seeing four of the stills.

Condition: fine. The stills are in really fantastic condition, just about as good as one could possibly hope for!
