Frank Capra is perhaps the greatest American director of all-time, directing movies from the 1920s to the 1960s. Some of his movies include: Lady for a Day (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), It's a Wonderful Life, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, It Happened One Night (winner of the Best Director Academy Award for this film), Arsenic and Old Lace, Mr. Deeds Goes To Town (winner of the Best Director Academy Award for this film), Lost Horizon, You Can't Take It with You, and Meet John Doe. He passed away in 1991 at the age of 94.
Important Added Info: The index card has been personally autographed (signed) by Frank Capra! It is nicely matted together with a 1946 vintage "It's a Wonderful Life" trade ad cut from a magazine, and the entire display is framed and ready to hang on the wall! Our consignor is a longtime collector who purchased this signed item from a reputable dealer. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. Note that this item is framed with glass or Plexiglas, and it will need to be sent in a very large padded box so that it does not break along the way. Please bear in mind this expense BEFORE bidding on this item.

As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes.

Condition: very good.
