Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at some crossfolds and minor wear on the folds. It had smudges and faint stains scattered in the white background areas. It had a diagonal crease running from the bottom of Davis' mouth at center to the chin of the doll at right below it. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not very distracting (and a talented restorer could touch them up without re-backing the poster).
