Adriatic Exhibition 1913 (Adria-Ausstellung 1913), the 1913 Austrian poster (printed in Cyrillic) promoting an exhibition that took place in Vienna, Austria from May 3rd to October 5th. This event was intended to promote cultural and economic relations with the Adriatic coast. For the elaborate exhibition, replicas of buildings, palaces and even entire streets of cities of the Adriatic coast were built, along with a small artificial lake. Over 2 million visitors visited the exhibition during the 155 days of operation. Note that this poster features Kurt Libesny art of a mounted knight in armor carrying a mermaid!

Important Added Info: Note that this item contains some nudity, so we have placed a white bar over those areas for those who are bothered by such images. Of course, the actual item does not have the white bars.

Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has the remnants of paper tape on the back of the top and bottom borders, and there is a 2" tear in the center of the bottom border that was repaired with tape from the back. There is a small tear in the left and right borders, and many creases scattered in the top and bottom of the poster.
