An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Fury, the classic 1936 Fritz Lang mob-violence-and-its-aftermath crime melodrama ("Based on a story by Norman Krasna"; about a man who is a victim of an angry mob, and he is trapped in a building and left to burn to death; he survives, but remains hidden, and the members of the mob are put on trial for his "death") starring Sylvia Sidney, Spencer Tracy, Walter Abel, Walter Brennan, Eddie Quillan, Bruce Cabot, Frank Albertson, and George Walcott. Note that this is a VERY "dark" movie, reflective of Fritz Lang's world view, having recently escaped Nazi Germany, and of course, the world itself had a similar view, with Adolf Hitler's rise to power. Yet it is also a very powerful movie, and many consider it among Fritz Lang's very best movies, which is saying a lot!

Important Added Info: Note that original 1936 release material from this movie is extremely scarce! Also note that this still measures 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm].

Condition: fair. There was paper loss in each corner and someone taped pieces from another still to those areas. There is a stamp on the back of the upper right background that somewhat shows through to the front. There are some faint creases and smudges scattered in the still, as well as pinholes in the corners. In spite of these defects, the still can still be displayed and enjoyed as it is, but please read our description above and look at our super-sized image before placing a bid on this still.
