A 1962 Re-Release Theatrical Folded Italian Two-Panel (known in Italy as a "4 Fogli") Movie Poster (2p; measures 55" x 78" [140 x 198 cm]) (Learn More)

The Lost Volcano, the 1950 Ford Beebe jungle adventure thriller ("Based upon Roy Rockwood's 'Bomba' books") starring Johnny Sheffield (as Bomba the Jungle Boy; after appearing in "Tarzan Finds A Son" in 1939 as "Boy", Sheffield made a few other movies, but then settled in to playing solely "Boy" and later "Bomba" in this highly successful series!), Donald Woods, Marjorie Lord, John Ridgely, Elena Verdugo, Tommy Ivo, and Don C. Harvey

Artist: Renato Casaro
Important Added Info: Note that the Italian poster artist for this movie (C. Rene) thought that this was a "Tarzan" movie, because the lead character looks like Lex Barker or one of the other 1950s Tarzans, but looks nothing whatsoever like Johnny Sheffield (and "IL FIGLIO DI TARZAN", meaning "The Son of Tarzan", was added to the right of Johnny Sheffield's credit in the top border!). Also note that this Italian two-panel was printed in 2 sections designed to overlap.

Condition: fair. The movie was wrongly advertised as being about "The Son of Tarzan" (see above). When someone realized the error, they cut off the portion of the right of the top border that had this incorrect tagline. The poster also has some stains scattered throughout.
