Important Added Info: Note that this rare unfolded Rocky Horror Picture Show poster was autographed by Mr. Curry at The Hollywood Collector's Show in March of 2014. He appeared at the show for two days, and autographed photos and memorabilia for a fee, but he signed very few posters (and we have been told by autograph collectors that he did not sign many autographs over the years at all), especially Rocky Horror Picture Show one-sheets. He has signed very few items relating to Rocky Horror over the past 39 years, and these may be among the only one-sheets he has ever signed! Here is a link to a photo of him signing a Rocky Horror one-sheet at the show (it is not the one we are currently auctioning, because he signed several). Also note that this poster features a cool black cake and Barbie dolls image! The tagline reads, "and they said it wouldn't last!" Note that the poster designers used Barbie dolls for the figures on the cake, and apparently did not bother to get permission, so it is said that this poster was recalled, and it is therefore difficult to find. If anyone can confirm this information, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
UPDATED 12/27/2014: We were given some additional information about how this poster was signed. It was at a privately arranged signing where Mr. Curry signed many items, but only a very small number of Rocky Horror Picture Show one-sheets. He has signed very few items relating to Rocky Horror over the past 39 years, and these may be among the only one-sheets he has ever signed, and there are surely very few others that he signed with his character's name (our consignor paid quite a bit extra for him to add "F. Furter") as well. Above we posted a link to an image of him signing a different poster at the same event (which we auctioned a couple of months ago), but here is an image of Mr. Curry signing THIS EXACT poster!
