Condition: very good. Prior to linenbacking, the poster was in very good condition. There was a 1" x 2" area of paper loss in the crossfold at upper right (at the top of the girl's hat) and a small circular hole to the left of that. There were small tears and some small areas of paper loss along many foldlines, but nothing all that serious. There is a small stain in the right cheek of the girl at middle right. There are minor smudges around the edges of the poster and in the yellow background areas. Linenbacking has minimized the poster's defects, but they are still somewhat noticeable, although I do not think they are all that distracting. Note that because this three-sheet was printed on two separate sheets (standard for three-sheets at that time), the top and bottom pieces do not exactly match up, and the coloring of the letters of the title is not an exact match. This was a common printing defects in three-sheets. If it bothered the new owner of this poster, he could have a restorer make the two pieces match, without rebacking the poster.
