If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster was folded in half at one time and there was both a 4" tear in the lower left and the lower right. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was poorly backed, because the rice paper is completely separating from the linen behind it, and the poster itself is lifting significantly from the rice paper in the corners. In addition, after the poster was linenbacked, someone folded it across the center, giving the poster an added crease across the center (both in the poster and in the linen). I would think that any restorer could fairly easily remove this poster from the linen and properly re-back it, but bear that in mind before bidding on this poster! Learn More about condition grades
