He was (along with Charlie Chaplin) one of the two most famous comedians in silent movies, and he continued to make sound movies as well. He has too many wonderful movies to list, but some of his movies include: The General, Sherlock Jr., The Cameraman, and he made a very memorable final cameo appearance in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. He passed away in 1966 at the age of 70. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a really cool special 11x14 poster used to advertise the June 1926 issue of Ladies' Home Journal. It would be placed at news stands in a prominent location, so that passers-by would be encouraged to buy the latest issue. The front of the poster advertises a great story about Buster Keaton, and the back gives the name of the magazine and its price. We have never auctioned this before! Also note that the poster was printed on a heavy stock and can't possibly be rolled and must be sent in a flat package. Condition: very good. The poster was folded slightly above center, and there is some wear on that fold. Otherwise, the poster is in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
