Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair. The blank borders were trimmed off and the poster measured 24 3/4" x 38 1/4". It had fine surface paper loss and tiny bits of paper loss on parts of the top and bottom horizontal folds, and some minor border wear. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was fairly well backed, but the restorer did not replace the missing borders, and they did no real restoration. Unfortunately, after it was backed, it was displayed and all of the red colors changed to a pink color, except in the edges of the left and right borders, which were likely covered by a mat. All of the above are very significant defects, so bear them in mind before placing a bid on this poster. Learn More about condition grades
