An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Half-Sheet Movie Poster (1/2sh; measures 22" x 28" [56 x 71 cm]) (Learn More)

Ride 'em Cowboy, the 1936 Lesley Selander automobile car racing sports cowboy western ("Original story by Buck Jones"; set in the then present day, and Buck Jones is not only a cowboy who rides horses, but he also drives race cars!) starring Buck Jones, George Cooper, William Lawrence, Luana Walters, J.P. McGowan, Joseph Girard, Donald Kirke, and Charles Lemoyne. Note that Buck Jones' white horse was named Silver (just like The Lone Ranger's later on!), and Silver made 73 movies with Buck Jones from 1922 until Jones' death in 1942 in the tragic Cocoanut Grove fire. But oddly, Silver was almost never billed on the posters for Buck Jones' movies as so many other famous horses (most especially Tom Mix's Tony) were!

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this half-sheet is extremely rare. We have never auctioned it before! Also note that this poster was folded at one time, and while it could be sent rolled in a tube, we don't want to do that, because it might cause creases or separation on the folds. Therefore, we would much prefer to send it either in a large flat package or refold it and send it in a regular flat package, because we don't believe that refolding it will hurt the poster at all. But we will send it any of these three way that the new owner wants!

Condition: good to very good. The poster was folded. It has tiny paper loss at the crossfold and surface paper loss in parts of the right half of the horizontal fold, with some tiny creases on the rest of the folds. It has pinholes, smudges, and faint stains around the edges. Someone started to fold the poster in half an extra time, resulting in very light partial extra vertical folds. There is tiny paper loss in the blank border at the end of two folds, and someone wrote the title of the movie in the left of the bottom blank border.
