An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) False Trails, the 1924 Forrest Sheldon silent romantic love triangle cowboy western serial ("A Western action comedy drama of a vendetta which love vanquished"; "In 5 parts"; produced by William Steiner) starring Pete Morrison, and Dorris Dare. Note that the movie concerns a cowboy whose young son is murdered and he is cheated out of his ranch and cattle, which makes him become an outlaw, known as "The Son of the Wolf". He then spends the rest of the movie getting vengeance on the people who wronged him. The movie sounds fascinating, and we assume it is a serial, because the only item we have ever seen on it is a glass slide that says "in 5 parts", but we could find very little information about the movie, and we could find no other actors other than the single star! If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: very good to fine. The slide is in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
